Quick start quide
You finally got your Boost fin!
Now you're ready to get started. Before you do, however, please take a moment to review the following steps.
Before use
1. Charge your Fin
Before using Fin, you must leave it connected to the charger for several hours.
2. Change Mode
Please note that the Surf Mode is set by default, so if you’re using the fin with SUP, it is important to change the mode in the app. Connect your Fin to the BoostFin App to change the mode.
Activating
1. Activate your Fin
- Plug the charger into a wall socket
- Connect the charger to your fin
2. Turn on your fin
- Use the magnet on the screwdriver

3. Connect your fin to your phone
4. Connect Remote control if needed

5. Install the Adapter to your surfboard
6. Install Boost onto your adapter
Charging
1. Never charge your fin if the jack is wet
- Make sure that the jack is fully dried before charging.
- If you notice water in your jack after your session, you may not have closed the plug tight enough.
We recommend getting this earplug for your boost
If you notice water in your jack after a session, you might not have closed the plug tightly. Consider using a silicon earplug to completely seal the charging port.
Charge your fin fully
Make sure to fully charge your Boost fin right after you receive it, and fully charge the battery at least once a month even if you don't use the fin.
Use Leash for your boost
It will allow you to better secure the Fin on the board and not worry about accidentally losing it.
